Hallasan rent a car is a trusted, family-owned local rental car company based in Jeju, serving customers since 2006.
We do more than simply rent out cars— we want every visitor to enjoy a more comfortable, meaningful and welcoming experience in Jeju.
Our parents, lifelong Jeju locals, have been dedicated to the island and its tourism industry.
Building on that commitment, Hallasan Rent a Car is the only rental car company in Korea to offer accessible vehicles, including hand-control and wheelchair-accessible cars, allowing everyone to travel around Jeju without mobility limitations.
"Inspired by my parents' values, I decided to run a rental car service specifically for foreign visitors."
I had seen how international travelers often struggle with language barriers, unclear information, and less responsive service when renting cars in Jeju and I had personally supported many of them through our family business.
Today, I operate our foreigner-focused rental service so that international visitors can receive faster, clearer and more comfortable support while traveling in Jeju.
